About The Triangle Club of Iowa City
Our Mission
The Triangle Club of Iowa City brings together University of Iowa faculty, administration, and town business.
Our theme is "town and gown." Founded in the late 1800's, The Triangle Club helps to promote a high quality of University life, both intellectually and socially. Along with bringing together faculty members from across campus, the Club aims to bridge the gap between the University and its surrounding town.
The name “Triangle” was selected to represent three facets: faculty, administration, and town business.
Membership
New members are welcome! The Triangle Club welcomes membership applications from instructors, faculty, and staff members from The University of Iowa, as well as from leaders in the Iowa City community.
Our monthly Brunch Programs are held on the third Sunday of the month during the academic year. We now meet at the newly renovated Elks Club Lodge in Iowa City.
Membership is currently $10 per person annually and follows the academic year from fall to spring.
